Currently studying at the University of Florida, Jamie is a Writer, Director, and Hair/Makeup Designer with a passion for queer theatre studies.

Jamie has directed, co-directed, and assistant directed several shows for high school, college, and community theaters. He made his college directorial debut with One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Dale Wasserman produced by the Florida Players. He went on to direct The Last Desdemona by Kara Gordon, which was excepted into the Tampa Fringe Festival. He also had the opportunity to direct a staged reading of Milligrams by Laura Chiarello, which was part of the Hippodrome Theatre's One City One Story project.

Jamie had the opportunity to assistant directed with the University of Florida's School of Theatre and Dance. He worked with directors Malcolm Gets and Mihai Ciupe in a production of Macbeth. Since the pandemic, he has shifted to creating original film work with co-director Vanessa Nottingham. Together, they wrote and directed a three-part miniseries entitled Public Policy. The pair went on to co-directing The Lemonade Files, a feature film written by Jamie.

His goals are to foster diverse and creative environments with a foundation in absurdist realism. Educate the public on the history of the queer community through the lens of art and entertainment.  And, provide an escape through stories... even if it's just in two acts.
