“The Lemonade Files” Best Comedy at LA Independent Film Fest

“The Lemonade Files: An Untold Story of the Missing Shoes” received Best Comedy during its world premiere at the LA Independent Film Fest. Debuting at the LA Live Regal Cinema in downtown Los Angeles, the film was honored to have a full audience reviewed by The Alligator.

“The Curtain”

A thrilling queer horror written and directed by Jamie J. Edmondson wrapped production in May of 2024 and is currently in post-production.

 

The story follows Ar'Darius, a former stage performer who moves into a notorious Los Angeles apartment complex, only to discover that the trauma he thought he left behind lurks behind a red curtain. He, like the other tenants, becomes entangled in the apartment’s physiological torment with an unbreakable lease.

Written and Co-Directed by Jamie J. Edmondson and Vanessa Nottingham, “The Lemonade File: an Untold Story of the Missing Shoes” is set to premiere in festivals during the 2024 circuit.

“The Gift of Color”

Written by Jamie J. Edmondson and Directed by Daniel Nathan, “The Gift of Color” was selected for the “Renaissance Black Film Festival”, “Merceed Queer Film Festival”, “LA Queer Film Festival”, and the “DTLA Film Festival”.

A Queer short film focused on a young man’s journey of acceptance with his old-school grandmother, “The Gift of Color” was an opportunity to play with expectations and love.
